Tamayo Band’s mission is clear: Create the music they want to hear.

Inspired by artists from multiple genres, Tamayo Band lives in a world between Rock, Latin, and Psychedelic Jam. The band formed in 2018 in Gainesville, Florida and began to perform and record regularly around the state soon after that.

“We are here to speak for a generation fed up with the injustices and disparities of our society, to dance to the rhythm and soul of the universe, and to listen to the voice that is inside all of us.”

The band has released three albums and currently resides in St. Petersburg, FL with a fresh line up consisting of Michael Tamayo on Bass and Vocals, Chris Modroño on Guitar, Adam Barnett on Keyboards, and John Forbes on drums.
