Born from the humidity and sweat of Mobile, Alabama, singer-songwriter Red Padilla formed the dynamic eight-piece band, Red and the Revelers. With a distinctive voice and an energetic ensemble that includes drums, bass, keys, guitar, and a vibrant horn section, they have been spreading their unique brand of swamp soul across the Southeast. Hailed as one of the most exciting and innovative bands to emerge from Alabama, Red and the Revelers have captivated audiences with their one-of-a-kind sound, deeply rooted in the rich musical traditions of their hometown, the original home of Mardi Gras.

In August 2019, they released their debut album, "The Wizard and the Witch," featuring a roster of talented musicians from Mobile, including members of the renowned Red Clay Strays. Building on the momentum of their inaugural release, the band enlisted Will Turpin of Collective Soul and singer-songwriter, Brian Collins of Real People Music Productions to produce their highly anticipated second album, recorded at the historic Real 2 Reel Studios in Jonesboro, GA. This collaboration promises to elevate their swamp soul sound to new heights, showcasing the deep musical heritage of the Gulf Region.

Red and the Revelers are no strangers to the stage, playing over 100 dates a year, and they have garnered significant attention in the music scene. PBS Pensacola showcased a live performance set from the band at WSRE Studios on the series PBS Studio Amped, further solidifying their reputation. Their first single, "Rainy Day Suggestion," from their debut album, was featured on the show True South on the SEC Network, showcasing their reach and appeal. Additionally, they were highlighted on Red Radio Presents the Black Box Series at Gulf Port Community College in Gulf Port, MS, demonstrating their commitment to sharing their soulful sounds with a wider audience.
